    However, porcelain tiles offer some unique aesthetic options. Full-body porcelain (where the color and pattern extend through the entire thickness of the tile) is only possible with porcelain.     Choosing the Right Tile for Your Project

    Choose Ceramic When:

    Your application is interior walls in dry areas, budget is the primary concern, the tiles won't be exposed to freezing temperatures, lighter weight is needed for wall applications, and the project involves a residential bathroom with moderate use.

    Choose Porcelain When:

    The application involves floors with heavy foot traffic, outdoor installation is required in any climate, the area is exposed to water or moisture regularly, you need superior scratch and stain resistance, the design calls for large-format tiles or thin panels, and long-term durability and low maintenance are priorities.
